Privacy notice

Who is responsible

WolfIntel is operated by Possible Limited, registered in the Isle of Man, company number 134381C. Possible Limited is the controller of personal information collected through this website and WolfIntel enquiries. Contact garry@possibleltd.com for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the public website at wolfintel.info and enquiries about WolfIntel. It does not cover data held in a client's WolfIntel implementation: the relevant controller, purposes and processing arrangements are established separately for that implementation.

Information we receive and why

  • Website visits: the hosting server records technical information such as IP address, requested page, date and time, response status, browser information and, where supplied by your browser, the referring page. We use this to operate the website, diagnose faults and investigate misuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable and secure website.
  • Enquiries: if you email us, we receive your name, email address, message and any contact, business or attachment information you choose to provide. We use this to respond, understand your requirements and discuss a potential engagement. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract where you are the prospective contracting party.
  • Legal matters: relevant records may be used to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The basis is the applicable legal obligation or our legitimate interest in protecting legal rights.

Providing an enquiry is voluntary. Without enough contact information and detail, we may be unable to respond. Please do not send passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential client records in an initial enquiry.

Cookies and tracking

The public site does not use analytics or advertising trackers, set cookies or store preferences in browser local or session storage. Fonts and images are served from this website. See our cookie information. Server logging is separate from cookies.

Access and service providers

Information is available to people authorised to handle enquiries and maintain our systems, and to providers supporting hosting, email, security and backup services as needed for those purposes. Website hosting is supplied through Fasthosts; the published enquiry mailbox uses Microsoft 365. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where necessary for a legal obligation or legal claim. We do not sell enquiry information.

Processing outside the Isle of Man

Hosting and email services involve providers outside the Isle of Man. The countries and safeguards relevant to a particular service depend on its hosting and support arrangements. Contact us for information about where your information is processed and the safeguards applicable to it. Any restricted transfer must meet the requirements of applicable data protection law. Microsoft describes its contractual transfer safeguards in its Data Protection Addendum; Fasthosts explains its processing arrangements in its privacy notice. You can contact us to request details or a copy of safeguards applicable to your information.

How long information is kept

We retain personal information for up to six years. Information may be removed sooner when it is no longer needed for the enquiry, relationship, security purpose or record-keeping obligation for which it was collected. Technical logs may be overwritten earlier through routine server rotation. Retention also needs to account for information held in backups.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have conditions and exceptions. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal timescale, normally one month.

This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or carry out profiling for that purpose.

Questions and complaints

Contact garry@possibleltd.com. You may also complain to the Isle of Man Information Commissioner, including without first contacting us. You may have the right to contact another supervisory authority where applicable.

Changes

We will update this notice when the website or relevant data handling changes. The date above identifies this version.
